I've got Carson Palmer as not being all that great. Doc has Cedric Benson not even in the Top 25. We both don't like Ochocinco! This is from a team that made the playoffs last year!
Carson Palmer - From 2005-2007 he was #1,4 and 9. In those years he had two 1,000 yard receivers. This year he could have the same in Ochocinco and Bryant; however, the running game worked well for the Bengals last year. And if it ain't broke (or if Benson doesn't break down), don't fix it. I just don't think he gets enough attempts to be the sleeper QB some people think he will be.
Cedric Benson - He does have a history of doing goofy stuff (See boat situation), and we'll see if he's suspended! He did not have a TD in the last five games and has never played all 16. Last year he was only the 16th ranked RB. Honestly, I hope he gets suspended so I can grab him late and he'll be rested.
Ochocinco - Hasn't been in the Top 10 for the last two years. He did have 1,000 yards last year, but also did about 1,000 hours in front of cameras this offseason. He'll still be good because God will bless what he did for the homeless boy, but for some reason I see Antonio Bryant getting closer to where he was two years ago and surpassing Ocho. (Isn't it crazy that everyone calls him "Ochocinco" now?)
As for the rest of the Bengals, Jermaine Grisham (TE) and Bernard Scott (especially if Benson doesn't play) could be sleepers. Scott had 238 yards last year in the two games he subbed in for Benson. I wouldn't grab either of them because you can probably get them on the wire; unless you see Benson get suspended and want a four-game rent-a-player. The Defense is startable, but Shayne Graham would be better used as a topping for roasted marshmallows and chocolate.
Thanks and Good Luck on the HOLE IN THE GOSPEL contest!
