BRAD CHILDRESS IS GONE, YOU CAN PICK HIM UP TOO!

Brad, if you need a place to stay, I have connections in the homeless shelter business! I'll make sure you get a pad!
You would think this could do nothing but good for the Vikings! This season was going nowhere, and it was pretty clear they needed a new direction. Are they gonna make a playoff run? NO! Are they gonna win more than three games the rest of the way? PROBABLY NOT! Does Leslie Frazier have any fantasy value? I THINK SO! At least for the next couple of weeks. We'll see what happens in Week 14-15, when the Vikings really have nothing to play for. But, for now, look for Adrian Peterson to have a much larger role and spike up the value of Percy Harvin and Sydney Rice. Sorry, but I think Brett Favre ends his fantasy career on the Waiver Wire!
Now, how 'bout some GO GET 'EMS?

QUARTERBACKS: Rusty Smith, Tennessee
Vince Young is done for the year (I wonder if he really has a injured thumb!) and Kerry Collins is out, so Rusty gets a chance to improve his lifetime 19 QB Rating! He's only played in one game, only completed three passes - so why GO GET 'EM? He's playing the Houston Texans!

RUNNING BACKS: Keiland Williams, Washington and Maurice Morris, Detroit
Portis may be done for the year. Ryan Torain has already been labeled out for Week 12. The Redskins just signed James Davis off the practice squad. It looks like Williams is the guy out there, and remember, the Redskins have an awesome play-off schedule!
Kevin Smith is on IR (a tear just hit my keyboard). Jahvid Best may be out with the short week. So, Maurice Morris steps in! He's always averaged more than four yards a carry and can catch the ball out of the backfield!

WIDE RECEIVERS: Mario Manningham and Derek Hagans, New York
Two weeks ago, the experts were putting New York in the Super Bowl. Things have changed since then. Hakeem Nicks is out for three weeks. Steve Smith is still out. So, you're looking at your two new starting receivers!

 TIGHT END: Joel Dreesen, Houston
He had 104 yards last week, but Tight Ends have been almost impossible to predict, and you don't know when Owen Daniels will get back.

Obviously, at this point in the season, you know what you're doing. So, trust yourself. If you like someone on the Waiver Wire and think it will help you make that Championship Run.....GO GET 'EM!

ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT FOOTBALL....I LEARNED IN WEEK 11!

It's midway through the first quarter and I need Michael Vick to score two points for a Playoff berth!  My thoughts may be a little discombobulated (wow, I'm even impressed I used that word!)  Oh well, let's try to review this incredible Sunday.  MICHAEL VICK AT THE TWO...TOUCHDOWN!  I'M IN THE PLAYOFFS!  CLINCHED A BIRTH WITH THE WIN!  YES!
Now, that caps off an awesome Sunday!  With the Bears already in the win column, I listened to almost 5 hours of football on the radio.  A special thanks to ESPN radio for having that show with Freddie Coleman.  I love that!  While my daughters were in the Playland, I was listening to Freddie recap the morning games.  The he got me through cleaning up the living room.  Later, thanks to WSCR-Chicago, checked out the Indy / New England game while I finished the house cleaning and took a trip to Wal-Mart.  And now, it's the Sunday night game.  There is just something cool about listening to football on the radio, is anyone else with me on this?  I kind of like being able to do somethind productive while following everything that happened.
And what a day to be following everything that happened!  Let's start with my PLAYER OF THE DAY!  BRIAN ST. PIERRE.  Sure, he was only 13-28 and threw more touchdowns to Ravens then he did to his Panthers.  But, last Sunday, he was a stay at-home dad.  A week later he's a starting QB in the NFL.  He gives hope to us all!
  • And we had some great reminders why we call these people studs!  Ray Rice had 131 yards and a touchdown.  He hasn't done it every week, but it's getting more and more likely.  Maurice Jones Drew had 76 total yards on their last drive including the game-winning touchdown and came through with 28 fantasy points.  That's three 100 yard games in a row.  He started Week 11 only 79 points from being the #1 RB I predicted he would.  Chris Johnson had 130 yards, Michael Turner had one more than that with a touchdown, and Peyton Hillis beat them both.  You've almost got to start putting him in a seperate category with Arian Foster (143 yards and 2 TD's against the Jets - yeah, I sat him in one league!)....Ben Roethlisberger had over 30 fantasy points.  I guess you shouldn't punch him in the face.  Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning each threw four touchdowns.  We've all seen those names on top of the rankings list before, even if one of them threw an INT at the END of a big game again!  Another one of those guys, threw three of those touchdowns to Greg Jennings.  That's right - the same guy I bet Doc would have less fantasy points than James Jones, who had a nice game, but not a 33 point type game!  There goes another 44 ouncer! Can we start include Steve Johnson in this list too?  3 more touchdowns for the guy who was already the 13th ranked WR!  And Randy Moss....oh wait, he didn't quite show that he's a stud!
  • I also think we may need a new category - the DWAYNE BOWE GUYS!  These are guys who just keep on producing.  By the way, I loved Dwayne Bowe in the preseason and then gave up on him.  In fact, I dropped him off my team - I shouldn't have given up on him.  Mike Wallace is one of those guys!  Every week, over 100 and 1 TD!  We may even have to put Fred Jackson in that category if he keeps this up.  2 more TDs and a second straight Top 2 RB ranking, but let's see him do it against someone that has more than two wins.  Mike Williams, TB, is another guy who just scores on the road.  5 of his 6 TDs now are away from home.  Even Ben Jarvis Green-Ellis came through with 96-1.  Another guy I'm glad I told my buddy to get like five weeks ago!  Don't forget about LaGarrette Blount!  Even with Cadillac (don't forget about me either) Williams (can a guy have two nicknames, and can a writer use two parentheses back-to-back?) catching a TD, Blount still put up 82 yards!
  • Surprise, surprise!  Cedric Benson is back!  My Hail Mary this week was for Bernard Scott to outscore CedBen.  He only missed that by 20 points (unless you get negative points for going backwards - Scott had a total of -9 yards!).  Thomas Jones had two touchdowns and 71 yards.  Good to see that again!  And where has Chris Ivory been?  One week, even Julius Jones had more yards than him.  Not this week!  And we know Chris Cooley and Marques Colston owners are finally happy - especially with Colston!
  • You know who I like in fantasy?  Those guys you just know what you're gonna get every week.  Like Jamaal Charles!  Every week, he's over 10 points - usually doesn't get into the end zone, but puts up a whole ton of yards!  And LT, I thought for sure, Shonn Greene would start to overtake him.  But, Tomlinson gets his 100 total yards - 60 more than Greene!  Two guys you might not have predicted would be here are Jon Kitna, 3 passing TDs and one running.....for a 38 year-old.  I'm 39 - do you know how hard it is to run 25 yards without large men chasing you?  And Mike Goodson.  Two straight weeks with over 100 yards.  I'm not sure Jonathan Stewart gets all the carries when he comes back.  Just in case you haven't noticed, Ben Obomanu had his second game with at least 60 yards.  Pete Carrol also just named him the starter.  If Matt Hasselbeck keeps throwing for 366 yards, Mike Williams can't get them all.
  • There were a lot of things I was interested to see in Week 11.  Would Beanie Wells play and how much?  He played, but not much.  I'm still holding out hope that he's gonna help me in the fantasy play-offs!  Would Felix Jones keep up the stats in the Jason Garrett era?  He had 82 yards.  That's good enough for me to wish he was still on our Waiver Wire. With Kevin Smith on IR (moment of silence) and Jahvid Best having toe problems, would Maurice Morris be a nice pick-up for the end of the year?  71 total yards in game one, that's a good sign!  Who would win the Darren McFadden 5 yards a carry vs. Steelers #2 run D battle?  Give that one to the Steelers.  DMac had thirty total yards.  Would Keiland Williams get a lot of carries even with Portis back?  He did, but a lot of that had to do with Portis's groin feeling no so healed!  After getting benched, then signing the big contract, how would Donovan McNabb come out?  366 yards, but still only one touchdown!  Would Sidney Rice be back to last year's Sidney RiceHe said he probably wouldn't be able to play the whole game, so let's not pass judgement on his 3-56 for at least another week.  The only problem is that in another week, the Vikings may have really given up.  Would James Starks get any action for the Packers? In the blowout, Dmitri Nace got 12 carries - none for Starks!
  • UH-OH, STUD ALERT!  Santonio Holmes has had two nice games in a row!  And today he became the go-to guy!  And if you had any hope of Dustin Keller coming back, forget it!  I think we've seen enough Jets football A.H. (After Holmes) to realize Keller and his 7 yards is about what you're gonna get!  Tom Brady looks like he's back.  Don't let the 186 yards fool you.  He was dealing in the first half!  Brandon Pettigrew loves Shaun Hill...or Shaun Hill loves Brandon Pettigrew.  It doesn't really matter - they work well together.  Are you still worried about Ryan Fitzpatrick?  Rodgers, Manning, Brees....and Fitzpatrick - they all threw 4 TDs this week!  Austin Collie went out again (it's a shame!), but Reggie Wayne stepped up with 107-1.  They even called a timeout in a close game to make sure he stayed in.  He's still the guy Manning looks to.
  • Some random things you might want to take note of.....Nate Burleson had 97 yards and a touchdown!  2 out of his last three games have been over 100 yards with a TD!  Larry Fitzgerald had 90-1.  Yeah, that TD, and a good amount of yards was late, but they still count, and he's more consistent that last couple of weeks.  You don't want either of the Seattle running backs!
  • Now this is crazy!  Miles Austin and Dez Bryant combined for 15 yards and ........... 3 TOUCHDOWNS!  Last week, I started Joel Dreesen and he did nothing.  This week, I had Zach Miller back, and he did nothing.  Dreesen had 106 yards!
  • God bless Jimmy Graham!  He's the basketball player that is playing football - a la Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez!  Today, without Jeremy Shockey, he had 5 catches for 72 yards!
Another great week of football, and it's not over yet!  I think I'll go take a walk, listen to the end of the Sunday Night game, and see if more Eagles can drop Michael Vick passes!  Thanks again for listening, reading, whatever!

NO ONE HAS TIME FOR 10,000 WORDS!

Christopher Harris writes 10,000 words to review the NFL games each week. Who has time to read that? We've got kids, a job, community responsibilites, and life. So, I give you about 9,000 less and just cut to what you need to know for every game!

BILLS AT BENGALS
1) Fred Jackson was the #2 RB last week. Cinci has given up at least 76 yards to running backs each week. In the last seven weeks, they've given up at least one rushing TD.
2) Steve Johnson just had one bad game - so did Ryan Fitzpatrick. Don't freak!
3) The Bills have the worst running D! Last week Cedric Benson had 24 yards and has been limited in practice. Can you say Bernard Scott?
4) Someone's gonna score - the Bills give up 22.6 pts to running backs; although they did stop the Bears and Lions.
5) Ochocinco is alive after last week! But Palmer is injured and so is is he - no practice on Thursday.
6) Jermain Gresham coms off his best game of the year: 9-85-1!
DOC'S PICK = BENGALS / TBONE'S PICK= BILLS

LIONS AT COWBOYS
1) Calvin Johnson, Kevin Smith and Jahvid Best are all nicked up. You're gonna have to watch what happens at practice on Friday.
2) Maurice Morris could be the starting running back. He couldn't do any worse. Best has not had a TD since Week Two and has not had more than 50 yards since Week 5!
3) Detroit is one of the worst teams against the run, and Felix Jones just had his best game of the year.
4) Dez Bryant is 19-294-3 since Jon Kitna took over!
DOC'S PICK = COWBOYS / TBONE'S PICK = COWBOYS

REDSKINS AT TITANS
1) Donovan McNabb signs an extension? What are they doing? And does Rex get one too?
2) Torain and Portis still not practicing. There is one guy who always comes up big at the end of the year. Could it be Keiland Williams?
3) Wasshing gives up almost 300 yards passing per game...and 2 TDs!
4) Randy Moss and Vince Young get their first chance together for a full game. I like that combo this week.
5) Kenny Britt is still probably out!
DOC'S PICK = REDSKINS / TBONE'S PICK = TITANS

CARDINALS AT CHIEFS
1) Whisenhunt says Beanie will get a ton of plays on Sunday, and Wells says he feels the best he has all year! It doesn't hurt that Stephens-Howling is injured and Hightower hasn't really done anything.
2) The Cardinals have more return TDs than rushing TDs or passing TDs - that's a bad sign!
3) KC gives up 250 yards a game passing, too bad the Cardinals have Derrick Anderson.
4) Dwayne Bowe has five straight games with a TD.
5) The Cards give up 132.4 yard per game on the ground and 300 per game in the air. Teams get almost 2 passing TDs against them each week.
6) The Chiefs are 4-0 at home!
DOC'S PICK = CHIEFS / TBONE'S PICK = CHIEFS

PACKERS AT VIKINGS
1) Greg Jennings has 13 catches for 155 yards and 2 TDs in his last two games vs the Vikings.
2) James Jones has had 2 good games in their last three.
3) The Vikings have given up 7 TD passes in their last three meetings.
4) 11 Packers (6 starters) are on IR!
5) Don't forget the name: James Starks!
6) Adrian Peterson had 131 yards in their first game.
7) Percy Harvin has been coming on, but does Favre still have the fire?
DOC'S PICK = PACKERS / TBONE'S PICK = PACKERS

TEXANS AT JETS
1) Jets allow QBs an average of 18 points per game. But, in 2009 Matt Schaub only had 166 yards with 0 TDs, and now he's got bursa sac problems.
2) Daniels still not practicing + Andre Johnson on Reevis Island = good game for Kevin Walter or Jacoby Jones
3) Last weeks stats: Shonn Greene (23 touches for 94 yards) LaDanian Tomlinson (23 touches for 110 yards)
4) Houston gives up at least 24 points every game - over the last five they've averaged giving up 31. They've given up 22 TD passes!
5) Holmes, Edwards, Keller - play 'em all!
DOC'S PICK = JETS / TBONE'S PICK =JETS

RAIDERS AT STEELERS
1) Louis Murphy is back. He is still the #1 Raider WR.
2) The Steelers give up close to 300 yards per game against the pass. Oakland averaged 33 points per game over the last three - could be interesting.
3) McFadden (1000 yards, 6TDs) vs Steelers (569 yards, 4 TDs vs the run)!
4) The Sharder just had his second worst game of the season!
5) Big Ben has had a couple stinkers in a row too! 3-1 without Ben, 3-2 with!
6) Mike Wallace does have 4 TDs in 5 games with Roethlisberger!
DOC'S PICK = STEELERS / TBONE'S PICK = RAIDERS

RAVENS AT PANTHERS
1) Ravens had ten days off!
2) The Panthers have 26 turnovers and average 11.6 points. Start the Baltimore D.
3) The Panthers aren't as bad as you think they'd be on D.
4) Mike Goodsen and Tony Pike could start. Goodsen had a good game last week, but this ain't the Bucs!
5) Steve Smith - Hasn't scored since Week 2, didn't practice on Wed. Too bad, because the Ravens have had trouble defending the pass lately!
DOC'S PICK = RAVENS / TBONE'S PICK = RAVENS

BROWNS AT JAGUARS
1) The Browns rushed for 214 yards last year on the Jags. Peyton Hillis wasn't there. Now, he's 35% of their offense and has scored 9 of their 17 TDs.
2) The Jags have given up 31 TDs and have only given up fewer than 20 points once.
3) MJD has two 100 yard games in a row, but Cleveland has only given up two rushing TDs all year.
4) Garrard has 6 TDs in the last two games. In fact, he has 7 total TDs and 11 incompletions.
5) Cleveland gives up 250 yards and 2 TDs vs pass!
DOC'S PICK = JAGUARS / TBONE'S PICK = BROWNS

BUCCANEERS AT 49ERS
1) LaGarrette Blount has 3 TDs in 4 games, and has been over 90 yards in three of the last four!
2) Ernest Graham may be back this week.
3) Mike Williams has averaged 77.8 yards in the last five games, and 4 of his 5 TDs have come on the road. San Fran gives up at least one TD to the opposing WR every game.
4) Josh Freeman has QB ratings of over 120 in two of his last three games.
5) Frank Gore has only 5 TDs this year (surprising!),but the Bucs should give him at least one.
6) Troy Smith's QB rankings have both been over 100. Last week, 8 of his 17 completions went to TEs.
DOC'S PICK = 49ERS / TBONE'S PICK = BUCCANEERS

SEAHAWKS AT SAINTS
1) Hasselbeck is coming off his best game of the year, but the Saints have the best D vs. the pass.
2) Mike Williams was back last week, and now Ben Obamanu has been named a starter after two good weeks.
3) Marshawn Lynch has had three stinkers in a row, and Justin Forsett played well last week. Should we take note?
4) Reggie Bush is expected to play. Pierre Thomas is not!
5) The Seahawks give up almost 300 passing yards per game, and when they lose they lose big (by an average of 24.5 points!)
DOC'S PICK = SAINTS / TBONE'S PICK = SAINTS

FALCONS AT RAMS
1) Falcons had ten days off!
2) Jason Snelling - 97 touches, 472 yards, 5 TDs. Think that has an effect on The Burner?
3) Matt Ryan has a QB Rating of 99.5 on turf and 77 on grass.
4) Last week, the Rams gave up 9 plays of 20 yards or more!
5) Danny Gibson had 8 catches for 72 yards last week and goes against Brent Grimes, the cornerback who gave up 2 TDs last week and has been "picked on" by opposing quarterbacks!
6) Atlanta is tough against the run, but SJax had 148 yards last week vs Niners.
DOC'S PICK = RAMS / TBONE'S PICK = FALCONS

COLTS AT PATRIOTS
1) Last week James and Brown split carries. James has 3 TDs in 2 weeks.
2) Addai, Wayne, Collie and White are all on the injured list - gonna have to watch again. Even Peyton Manning is affected!
3) Tamme had 7-73 again last week!
4) Colts give up a lot of points to the TE - GRONK!
5) The Pats average 31.8 points at home.
6) If you compare the two teams, the Pats give up more passing yards and passing TDs.
DOC'S PICK = COLTS / TBONE'S PICK = PATRIOTS

GIANTS AT EAGLES
1) Steve Smith will be out till December.
2) Ahmad Bradshaw is third in NFL rushing yards (838) and getting better at blitz pick-up (that equals more carries!)
3) Hakeem Nicks has averaged 6 catches, 106 yards, and 1 TD in his last three games.
4) Michael Vick's QB ratings have all been over 90 this year, and he hasn't thrown an interception in 182 passes.
5) 42.1% of the Eagles plays have been rushes this year. That's the most since 2006.
DOC'S PICK = GIANTS / TBONE'S PICK = EAGLES

BRONCOS AT CHARGERS
1) San Diego = 3rd best against QB, 2nd best vs WR, and 4th worst vs TE - Knowshon Moreno should be pretty needed! Last week, they ran the ball 31 times, the most since Week Two!
2) Lloyd needs 32 more yards to hit 1,000. His career high before this year was 733.
3) Rivers has a 110.5 QB Rating in 9 games vs. Broncos.
4) The Chargers average 420 yards per game (Last week, the Broncos had 452)
5) Antonio Gates already has 9 TDs; however, it doesn't look like he'll play this week.
6) Denver is the third worst team against the RB. Too bad Ryan Matthew's ankle is still injured.
7) Malcolm Floyd is back!
DOC'S PICK = CHARGERS / TBONE'S PICK = CHARGERS

HAIL MARYS:
Bernard Scott will have more fantasy points than Cedric Benson this week.  (TBONE)
Sam Bradford will be a Top 10 QB this week. (DOC)
44 OUNCE WAGERS:
James Jones (TBONE) will have more fantasy points than Greg Jennings (DOC) this week.

TBONE THURSDAY!

BEARS VS DOLPHINS
There may not be a score in this game!  When you look at these defenses against opposing players, it's a little intimidating!  The Bears are first against QBs, the Dolphins are 8th.  The Bears are 10th against RBs, the Dolphins...12th.  The Bears are fifth against WRs, and the Dolphins are 10th.  The Bears are 5th against the TEs, the Dolphins are 8th.  Who in the world is going to rack up a huge fantasy game?  Maybe it's the Bears D/ST.  They're #2 right now, have 25 turnovers on the year and are going against a QB who hasn't started since 2008, and have the "Ridiculous" Devin Hester back!
So, there may not be any points, but we're going to break it down anyway; because, the Bears actually looked good last week.  They've only given up one sack per game the last two weeks.  Cutler seems to be scrambling out of pressure, and they're running the ball more (not racking up a lot of yards, but at least giving the D something to think about!)  Johnny Knox is coming off a big game, but the Dolphins have only allowed two receivers to go over 100 yards, so you might not be comfortable there.  And you don't anticipate Matt Forte or Chester Taylor going off anytime soon.  The only thing the Bears have going for them is that the Dolphins have given up a lot of points to the Jets and Patriots this year.  Are the Bears either of those teams? No, but at least you can see some evidence that you can score on the Dolphins.
Not so much with the Bears.  They've been pretty consistant at giving up teens or low 20's for points.  You factor in no Jake Long and a third string Quarterback - it might not look good.  However, remember in 2008 Tyler Thigpen was the 11th ranked QB in fantasy.  He could do it with his arms and his legs.  So, the Bears may struggle to keep him in the pocket.   And the last time Brandon Marshall played the Bears and their Cover 2, he had 97 yards and a touchdown.  (Yes, he actually use to score touchdowns!)  Here's another interesting angle.  Brian Moise, on our TBONE THURSDAY Podcast said he'd bet "100 dollars you see some trickery here."  He even hinted that we might see Brandon Marshall line up at QB.  If you look at last week, when Henne went out last week, the Dolphins ran 5 straight direct snaps to Ronnie Brown.  Hmmmm!
This is a game both teams need.  The Bears are 6-3 and in first place, but the rest of their schedule includes Philly, New England, Minnesota, the Jets and Green Bay.  The Dolphins are chasing but have oakland, Cleveland, Buffalo and Detroit coming up.  I look for it to be a close game - hopefully, it won't come down to the kickers because Dan Carpenter is money, and......

YOU THINK YOU CAN RANK BETTER?

OK, so I just had just my worst week or ranking ever!  (Funny - I just scored the second highest point total in my league's history, but my picks were el stinko!) And you're probably thinking, "I can pick better than TBone!"  Well, here' your shot.  This week - send my your picks (Top 25 QBs, Top 50 RBs and WRs and Top 20 TEs).  If your picks are better than TBones, we'll put your picks up on the site for the rest of the year!
Here are some things I noticed from this weeks rankings:

1) ALWAYS PLAY YOUR STUDS!  Look at Roddy White!  He was injured, wasn't sure he was going to play - then he's the #2 Fantasy Wide Receiver.  But, wait...look at Peyton Manning.  He finished as the 27th best QB!  And Michael Turner...he was 41st!  And Reggie Wayne, and Brandon Marshall, and Randy Moss - none of them finished in the Top 50!  So, I say keep on following the Spirit.  You never know!
2) I APOLOGIZE TO DWAYNE BOWE OWNERS!  A couple weeks ago I said, "This is the two best games you'll see from Dwayne Bowe.  Whoops!  He's #1 this week!
3) GARBAGE TIME COUNTS!  A look at the stats this week shows Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Cassel in the Top 5.  Keiland Williams was the #1 Running Back!  Dwayne Bowe and Mike Thomas ended up in the Top 5.  What do they all have in common?  Garbage Time points...and one lucky Hail Mary!  If you can predict this stuff, God Bless You!
4) DRAFT WIDE RECEIVERS FIRST!  Each week I'm shocked at who pops up in and out of the Top 30 WRs.  (See #1 above).  More than I ever, I really believe that you need two top WRs and one good one stored on your bench so you can play match-ups!
5) DOES THIS MEAN ANYTHING?  Felix Jones, in his first game under Jason Garret, was the 7th best RB this week!  Jerome Harrison was the 9th ranked RB!  BenJarvus Green-Ellis came in as the 21st ranked back.....against the Steelers!  Tom Brady was back as the #2 QB!  Dez Bryant was the 8th ranked WR, Miles Austin was 18th!  The Gronk caught 3 TDs and was the #1 TE in fantasy last week!
6) MICHAEL VICK IS A STUD!  Do you understand what just happenend?  We witnessed history - the best fantasy performance ever by a QB!

The scores reflected are # of spots, on the average, I was wrong about any individual player. To get my points, I rank the Top 20 QBs, Top 20 RBs and WRs, and the Top 25 TEs. Then, I find the difference of where they finished for the week (on ESPN scoring) compared to where I ranked them. If I did not have them in the Top 20, 50, 25 and they finished there, I take the next available spot, 21,51 or 26 and add the difference to my score.

GO GET 'EMS FOR WEEK 11!

SCROLL DOWN IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR FREE AGENTS ON THE WAIVER WIRE!
Normally on Tuesday, we give you the free-agents to go pick-up....NOT TODAY!  Michael Vick is going crazy!
It all started at lunch.  I called my buddy to talk a little trash.  I was up by thirteen points - he had Maclin tonight....I HAD VICK!  I got a call at about 7:45..."You _________!"  Michael Vick 88-yard touchdown pass.  Got another call ten minutes later, "Vick just ran one in!  You __________!"  I went outside to listen on the radio - touchdown pass, touchdown run, touchdown pass.  I am writing this at halftime, and Michael Vick has 37.88 points in my league.
Now, I decided to do a little research.  Our league's stats go back to 2004.  The most points any player has ever scored is 50 by Chris Johnson in 2009!  The most points a Quarterback has ever scored is 40 - Daunte Caulpepper in 2004 (when QBs got more points per passing yard!)  Michael Vick almost had that at half-time!
We are witnessing one of the best games ever by a Quarterback!  His halftime Quarterback Rating was the highest of all time.  I don't even care how this ends up, it's one of the most impressive sports performances I've ever listened to (we don't get ESPN!)
But, what's more impressive is what Vick was doing two years ago!  Here's a guy that goes from the big house to taking it to the house five times in a half!  Here's a guy who goes from Rock bottom to the headlines of Rock On Football.  Here's a guy who almost literally went from hell to heaven.
THIS IS THE STORY OF GRACE!  I know that Michael Vick is not perfect, and that he made a few mistakes even after jail.  But, say what you want, Michael Vick's story can be our story.  How many of us would have said two years ago that this guy would be the most exciting player in the NFL?  How many of us would have predicted two years ago that this guy would have played arguably the best half of football in NFL history?  How many of us would have predicted two years ago that Michael Vick would once again be on top of the world?
Maybe the better question is, where will we be in two years?  What could God do with our lives?  Who cares where we are now, the question is where could we be?  I think this game more than any - reminded me of hope, reminded me that God can do what he wants with whoever he wants.
Michael Vick just ran for another 20 yards - what a story!  Another touchdown!

In case you want some Free Agents.....
Quarterback
Mark Sanchez plays Houston, Cinci and New England in the next three weeks.  His schedule gets tougher after that, but if you need someone now, GO GET 'EM!
Running Back
Felix Jones just went off, and they don't have a horrible schedule the rest of the way.  You may want to take a chance that Jason Garret can turn him around, and GO GET 'EM!
Justin Forsett had almost 100 yards and a touchdown yesterday.  The Hawks may eventually give up on Marshawn Lynch.
Wide Receiver
Mario Manningham may contnue this.  Who knows when Steve Smith will be back, and the Giants will score!
Dez Bryant has gone off ever since Jon Kitna took over.  If nobody has grabbed him yet, GO GET 'EM!
Tight End
Anthony Fasano was targeted 3 times in Tyler Thigpen's 6 passes and had a long TD called back by a penalty, but then caught one from him in the red zone!
Jermaine Gresham just had his best game of the year.  The Bengals look like they're gonna throw it all year!  If you need a Tight End, GO GET 'EM!
Delanie Walker has had back-to-back 8 point games...with Troy Smith.  I'm not sure you can ever start him over Vernon Davis, but trust the Spirit!

Finally, think you could do better than TBone ranking players.  Send me your rankings for Week Eleven and if you do better than me (with my scoring system) we'll put your rankings on our site for the rest of the year!

ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT FOOTALL....I LEARNED IN WEEK TEN!

I am standing as I write this - applauding you Clevelnad Browns. Yeah, I know you could have won if Chansi Stuckey holds on to that ball, but the way you've played the last three games is admirable! Way to go! OK, I'm down again - Kansas City, what the...? And before we get into the Weekly Review - a Hail Mary? How often do you see that being successful? Once every five years? Mike Williams - thank God tonight and make it a point to ask Him what you can do in return.
And now, let's review! But, this week it's your turn. Let's face it - I'm no more of a fantasy expert than any of you. So, I'm going to ask you some questions. Feel free to respond - either in your head, on lined-paper, or the comment box!

ONE DOWN - THIRTEEN TO GO!

I love talking about Fantasy Football.  I know, that's lame!  Fantasy Football has no life-changing impact whatsoever.  In fact, tonight I was at a meeting to discuss ending homelessness and was intriqued with the possibilty of actually doing that.  However, as engaging as that conversation was - our breakdown of the Ravens / Falcons was just as engaging.  Why is that?  Why do we care so much about something that ultimately doesn't matter?  I don't know, I just know I do....and I love it!  We can talk about homelessness some other time....now let's get into the football!
