REX'S REDSKINS

I had to really think about Tight Ends this week. Doc made me come up with my Top 5, so here they are and let me explain. 1) Dallas Clark, I just love watching him play. He's so quick after he catches the ball and you gotta love having Peyton Manning throwing to him. 2) Brent Celek, for some reason I see Kolb getting him the ball alot. 3)Vernon Davis, he was just tooooo good last year not to have him in the Top Five. 4) Antonio Gates, he's been Top 4 for six years in a row. You'd think it happens again. 5) Owen Daniels, last year he would have had 1000 yds and 10 TDs if you average out his stats for a whole year. This year I think he comes close. And when do you draft Tight Ends -I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Now, about those darn Redskins. Interesting group of folks. You could draft Donovan McNabb. You could draft Clinton Portis....if Mike Shannahan wasn't the devil. You could draft Santana Moss. But Chris Cooley looks like the only sure-fire pick. With Kyle Shannahan, you could see a passing explosion, but with Mike at the helm, you'd think it'd be more running. That's why it's interesting.

THE NFL DRAFT SPECIAL

Who knew that you could talk about the fantasy football relevance of the NFL Draft for thirty minutes. We broke down Sam Bradford, DeMaryius Thomas, Ryan Matthews and even the guy from China who could become the first Chinaman to play in the NFL. Of course, when I say "broke down" I mean we talked about a lot of goofy stuff and had very little NFL information. But, that's not all - there were no less than five Tim Tebow references (required by podcasting law for all Christian fantasy football podcasts), more talk than humanly possible about Raider quarterbacks, and a cool wolf howl! I've got to admit, it took us a long time to get here, but I think you'll agree - it was not worth the wait.
